HYDRAULIC ELEVATOR MAIN EQUIPMENT
POWER UNIT:
Our firm uses Beringer marked power units made of Switzerland in its
projects. Beringer Ventil block is electronically controlled. By
means of electronical control, following advantages are possible;
• great tolerance in oil temperature,
• lower energy expenses and power capacity,
• reduction in total movement time by means of keeping short the
gear ways,
• increase in downward movement up to %50 without requiring any
additional cost and making concession on comfort,
• compensability of load and temperature alterations.
CYLINDER :
Cylinders used in hydraulic elevators are generally single acting;
and are suitable for only vertical operation, in pushing and pulling
direction.
Single
stage cylinders: Cylinders used in indirect drive systems (1=2)
are plunger typr. These cylinders have impermeability harness only
on their neck sections and at only that section there is a touch
between felts and the honed outer surface of piston lever.
Maintenance is substantially easy and cost-effective in that
cylinders thanks to the simple structure of them. They can be
manufactured as double or multi-parted against the problem of
transportation and assembly in places with a long travelling
distance.
Multi
stage (telescope ) cylinders: In direct driven systems (1=) on
the other hand, 2 or 3 stage telescopic cylinders are used depending
the travelling distance. Stages of telescopic sylinders used in
elevators must operate synchronically contrary to those used in
industry. Stages goes up and down simultaneously and in the same
size
Draw cylinders: Draw cylinders are used in elevators with a
high travelling distance. There is not any buckling problem as they
operate in draw direction. These cylinders can also be manufactured
as double or multi parted against the problem of transportation and
assembly.
BLOWN OUT STEAM PIPE ISOLATING VALVE (FLOW LIMITATION VALVE) :
Hydraulic
connection between power unit and the cylinder are performed by
specific 2 or 4 fold steel plaited pressures hoses in hydraulic
elevators. Exploding pressures of these hoses are much over the
operating pressures and they possibly not explode in normal
operating. Howeve every kinds of safety measures must be taken for
it is a system by which the human is carried. A isolating valve is
provided on cylinder entrance in case of hose explosion or any
possible damages on connection points.
This
valve is a safety valve which is hydro-mechanical and adjustable
acting only in downward direction. Adjustment parameter is oil flow
amount which is balanced with the elevator velocity (flow=ltr/min).
In case elevator exceeds its normal nominal speed to the extent of
1,35 times, this valve automatically locks itself by the effect of
dynamic pressure and smoothly stops the downward movement of
cylinder. This valve is reactivated again only after the elevator is
operated upwards.
CONTROL
TABLE :
Control system performs the conditions demanded in Hydraulic
elevator standards and is programmable according to operating
conditions of the elevator. General specifications:
• Microprocessor technics, control without contact (without relay),
• In case of any failure in elevator (energy shortages, damages on
one of the phases, excessive heat of engine and etc.), automatically
going to the down stop and opening the doors,
• Floor stopping sensitivity of cabinet ±3mm,
• Precautions against phase reduction, overheating and overload,
• Permanent automatic levelling on both directions,
• Parking travel,
• Movement control,
SOFT
STARTER:
In order to prevent demurrage current reduction and tension decrease
in hydraulic elevator drives, starting the engine can be performed
by star / triangle connection. However star / triangle connection
does not display the same effect obtained in industrial engines in
hydraulic elevator engines which are operated in oil. In processing
to triangle, engine cycle decreases to a great extent due to the
lack of balance wheels and the friction resistance of the oil which
is operated in; and a demeraj current is occured which is
approximately similar to direct start. Star / triangle connection
which is performed by contactor causes electrically short time high
current pigs as well. Current piks possibly damages the other
electronic circuits used in control system. The contactor which is a
mechanical product has a limited life-span, operates noisy and
requires periodical maintenance. Our firm performs the start of the
engine by means of electronic Softstarter in high capacity elevators
requiring large drive engines. Electronic Softstarter is mounted on
power unit in place of klemens box and prevents all the negativity
originated by condactors in use.
AUTOMATIC
LEVELLING DRIVE ENGINE:
Possible distortions must automatically be compensated which can
be occured during perfoming loading and unloding to the floor levels
accordingto hydraulic elevator standards and in case of possible oil
leakage. Cabinet speed must be maximum at 0,3 m/s during automatic
levelling and that speed must be kept under control. Our firm
performs automatic levelling in high capacity elevators requiring
large drive engines by means of low power (1,5-4 kW) additional
drive group not by means of main drive engine. That drive engine is
mounted on the unit and introduced only during upwards levelling.
Meanwhile what is intented here is to reposition the cabinet
distorting from the floor to the floor level again within a very
short reaction time, with a cotrolled velocity and by using the
current which is %10 of normal current without introducing the main
engine. Thanks to automatic levelling additional drive group, floor
adjustment of the cabinet can be performed with a sensivity of ±3 mm
and it is possible to save energy since the main drive group is not
used.
